A Network of Autonomy | 3.20.25 – 3.31.25 | The Supermarket

A Network of Autonomy featured work from Atlanta artists that emphasize the social and environmental aspects that comprise reproductive rights. Selected artwork invited viewers to adopt a broader definition of reproductive justice and what the world would look like if we could all do the same. The work engaged with the complexities of reproductive justice in both personal and collective contexts, inviting deeper reflection on what is lost when reproductive justice is viewed solely through the lens of clinical environments.

The opening reception on March 20th included two performances: “Tethered,” choreographed by Cecilia Rodriguez with dancers Maggie Harrison, Leah Lipshutz, Sofia Tovar, Marley Crosby; and “Sometimes hidden from me in daily custom and in ritual I live by you unaware” choreographed and performed by Hiroko Kelly.
